There will be a work day for those that are able to help do some clean up and landscaping / pruning at the Mulligan's on Saturday, August 16th starting at 9AM. As Shirley continues to feel the effects of her heart condition, I know that this would be an encouragement to her. Often we take the smaller tasks for granted but as we struggle with life's setbacks these tasks can become quite overwhelming.
There are windows to be washed (will need buckets, window cleaner, rags or paper towels), some mildewed walls to be scrubbed (or perhaps power washed if there is one available) and some shrubs that need a good trim (tree trimmers, pruning shears, hedge clippers). Will probably give the yard a quick pick up as well, what with the winds we've been having. Shirley said she would love to have her flower garden weeded also. Ideally we need 6 for yard work (two for front shrubs, two for side shrubs, and two to wash mildew off back of garage).
I'm hoping we can get all this done in a couple of hours, three tops if we have a large enough crew. Other tools that would come in handy would be rakes and weed whackers.
I'm also still attempting to get a work day scheduled for Irene Sale's home, which needs some exterior walls replaced (OSB removed and new installed and painted) and perhaps some roof work. More on this once I have a date set.
If you can help on the 16th please let me know so I can be sure we have a crew and tools to do the job.

They have several windows, so it would be wonderful to have at least 6 to 8 ladies to wash windows on outside, and weed the front flowers. We will need at least 3 or 4 step ladders.
